Conflict Resolution Venable takes pride in the professionalism and teamwork that prevails among its staff. Occasionally, misunderstandings or conflicts with co-workers will arise. These situations should be resolved quickly and fairly. Employees are encouraged to speak directly with their immediate supervisor when they have suggestions, problems or complaints. Venable has an open-door policy. If it is not possible to speak with your supervisor, or if you feel that the problem has not been resolved, you may then take the matter to the next level of management or to Human Resources. Personal Conduct and Work Rules Venable believes in promoting an atmosphere of open communication and preserving a professional, business-like environment. Consequently, there are standards of conduct that are expected of all employees. This Handbook mentions many of the Firm’s policies and procedures that are an essential part of managing Venable’s business and providing employees with a professional, safe and productive work environment.
