Time Reporting Employees are responsible for accurately recording/reviewing their daily hours worked and submitting their timesheets to their supervisor for approval. Employees who don’t adhere to the established time reporting guidelines will be subject to disciplinary action. Hours worked outside of your normal schedule should be approved by your supervisor in advance. Information regarding pay policies can be accessed here under Pay Policies. Exempt Pay Policies may be accessed here. Attendance Consistent attendance and punctuality are necessary for Venable to conduct an efficient and effective business operation and are an integral part of each employee’s performance. The Firm expects employees to maintain a consistent presence at work; arriving on time and fulfilling the assigned work schedule. Alternative Work Schedules and Work Sites Your supervisor, taking into account your position with the Firm, determines your work schedule. Any departures from your normally scheduled hours are to be approved in advance by your supervisor. Venable considers alternative work schedules to be a viable work arrangement when individual and job characteristics are suited to such an arrangement. Alternative work schedules allow an employee the opportunity to adjust the times and/or days of their regular full time work shift, so long as the schedule meets the required core hours and needs of their specific job requirements.
