EmploymentHandbook-UpdatedMay2024-2
All part time employees will accrue a pro rata portion of the PTO allowance for regular, full time staff, determined by their years of service and the hours they are scheduled to work for the year. Schedules that don’t pro-rate at a 5% increment, will be rounded up to the nearest 5% of the full-time hours for their office location, not to exceed the full time accrual maximum. Employees are allowed to carry over the same pro-rated amount of the maximum amount of the full-time hours per their office location. In the event of a Firm holiday or office closure, employees will be paid for the number of hours they are regularly scheduled to work for that day. PTO leave amounts are set January 1 st of each year and are in effect for the full year. No adjustments of leave accruals will be made at any time during the year if a part-time employee works more or less hours than their schedule. PTO Leave Cap: At any point in time, an employee may have no more than 1.5 times their yearly accrual amount of accumulated PTO. No additional PTO leave may be earned (accrued) until employee’s PTO is below the 1.5 times their yearly amount. The cap for part time employees will be determined on their established work schedule and a pro rate portion of 1.5 times their yearly PTO accrual amount. No payments will be made in lieu of PTO leave not taken, except upon resignation or termination.
