Military Leave - Florida You will not be discriminated against because you either (1) belong to the Florida National Guard and are required to report for active duty; or (2) have an obligation as a member of a reserve component of the United States armed forces. Military Leave Pay Protection Act – San Francisco Under the Military Leave Pay Protection Act, part-time, temporary, and full-time employees who work in San Francisco who are members of the reserve corps of the US Armed Forces, National Guard, or other US uniformed service organizations, and are absent from work for military duty are eligible for supplemental pay during a qualifying military leave for up to 30 days in a calendar year. If your schedule does not provide you with adequate time to vote during the hours the polls are open, please make arrangements for time off with your supervisor.
